Mrs Hume
My name is Mrs Hume. I’m the Class Teacher in Year 2 (Green Class) and I’m also the subject leader for Science.
Learning in Year 2 is challenging and inspiring! Some highlights of the topics I teach are: learning about Famous Explorers in History, Life in Kenya in Geography, Animals and their Habitats in Science and making healthy pizzas in D.T.
In Year 2 we celebrate success by rewarding good work and following the Morden Values by giving children certificates, team points, raffle tickets and Golden Time.
I particularly enjoy organising our Science day, where children experience a range of exciting hands on activities across the school. I enjoy keeping myself fit and belong to a local running club. I relax by exploring the countryside with my rescue dog Ash.
